Fairness, Transparency, and Accountability

Fairness, transparency, and accountability are essential to managing public money responsibly. Strong financial systems should operate predictably and fairly, so working families are not disadvantaged by decisions made far from their daily lives.

My research has examined how public institutions use clear, data-driven tools to evaluate whether financial systems are working as intended and whether benefits and risks are shared equitably. In practice, this means using evidence to ensure financial decisions are transparent, accountable, and structured to support opportunity across communities over time.
